Dalton to Mrs Boast (Local History Room, Newington Library) regarding his grandfather, William Bower Dalton, about whom he was writing a life, and a brief response from the Borough Librarian and Curator (explaining that they had little information about him other than that given in Guy Miller's 1937 history of the gallery).<lb/><lb/>There is also correspondence from the 1950s between Percy Slarke and W. Hahn (Chief Librarian and Curator): there are two letters from Mr Slarke, who worked at the South London Gallery from 4 May 1891 to 8 August 1896, and one reply from Mr Hahn.</p>
