Material relating to the exhibition ‘Women & Work: A Document on the Division of Labour in Industry 1973-75’, held at the South London Art Gallery from 9 to 29 May 1975. The exhibition was put on by the artists Kay Hunt, Mary Kelly and Margaret Harrison and was the result of a two-year study of working conditions in the Metal Box factory in Southwark.
Includes: photographs; correspondence; press cuttings (copies and originals); exhibition publication; a poster; and details of an event held on 24 May 1975. There is also a copy of a catalogue about films available for hire.
