German photographer and one of the most distinguished representatives of "Subjective Photography". He has continually renewed in his dedicated practice of fine art photography. He is professor for photography at the Hochschule in Wismar. In Berlin he runs, together with Marc Grümmert, one of very few artist-cooperative galleries, which he founded in his commitment to create a public platform for his most talented students and emerging artists.
