Scope and content

Photographs of the group exhibition 'Domestic Bliss' which was held at the South London Gallery from 4 of August to 10 September 2000. It included work by Tom Friedman, Ana Prada, Tonico Lemos Auad, Jonny Moore, Yukinori Yamada.

The theme of the exhibition was art in everyday life. Using mundane objects and packaging for consumer goods, the five artists sought to challenge perceptions both of everyday objects and contemporary art. The project also intended to revitalise the idea of the handmade and craftmanship in art.
