Scope and content
Photographs of the exhibition of work by Mimmo Paladino held at the South London Gallery from 8 September to 17 October 1999.
Italian artist Paladino first gained international recognition after the 1980 Venice Biennale with the Transavantgarde movement. His exhibition at the South London Gallery featured a new work of twenty sculptures accompanied by a number of silkscreens and mixed media prints on aluminium. A separate but related show took place concurrently at the Roundhouse in Camden. The two-site exhibition was conceived and curated by James Putnam.
