Photographs of the solo exhibition Thomas Kilpper: The Ring, project organised by SLG which took place at Orbit House, Blackfriars from 11 to 26 March 2000. As part of the SLG Projects initiative, in The Ring Kilpper presented a 400sqm print of a woodcut on the façade of Horbit House on Blackfriars Road. The woodcut which was cut directly into the mahogany parquet floor of the building, was formed of memories of varied histories of the site. The artist interwove these histories with pictures from his own biography as well as over 80 portraits.
