Material relating to the exhibition ‘Edward James Collection of Surrealist Paintings’, held at the South London Art Gallery from 21 March to 10 April 1965. Includes: an invitation card to the exhibition; catalogue; a letter asking that the exhibition exhibits be exactly as they were when shown at Worthing and Towner; and photocopies of two press cuttings.
There is also a catalogue of ‘Paintings from the Edward James Collection’, shown at the Worthing Art Gallery and Towner Art Gallery, Eastbourne, in 1964.
