Catalogue of an exhibition of English Landscape Drawing and Painting, held at the South London Gallery from 13 May to 17 July 1951. The works included were from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and were loans from private collections and museums (including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Tate Gallery and Southampton Art Gallery).

The exhibition included work by artists such as: John Constable; Thomas Gainsborough; J.M.W. Turner; Cotman; Cozens; Samuel Palmer; Rowlandson; Thomas Girtin; Paul Sandby; and Wilson Steer.
