Material relating to the exhibition ‘Northern Primitives’, held at the South London Art Gallery from 7 to 27 April 1972. Includes: catalogue; invitation to the private view; correspondence with Mr George Murray (who proposed the exhibition in 1968); a press release; general paperwork, including a price list and details of sales; and copies of press cuttings, including an article by Andrew Causey.

There is also a letter dated 16 March 1987 from Granada Television who wished to obtain a copy of the exhibition catalogue for a film they were making on naïve artists.
