Note

The files for each exhibition tended to be filed in manila envelopes, with labels suggesting that a private view card, catalogue and poster would be saved for each exhibition. This is not always the case and at times envelopes which should have housed these items are empty. It is not known if the items were never produced or if they were lost or destroyed. All the envelopes have been kept, even if there were no contents.

Photocopies of press cuttings, the originals of which are in Southwark Archives, have quite often been added to the file (most likely in the 2000s).
