Material relating to the exhibition ‘International Exhibition of Children's Art’, held at the South London Art Gallery from 21 October to 17 November. It was organised by the Daily Worker. Also on show was a display of ‘Children’s Books around the World’ (from Camberwell Public Libraries).

The file includes: an invitation card to the exhibition; a catalogue; a press release; a poster; colour reproductions of six of the exhibits; colour cards of five of the exhibits; a leaflet about submitting an entry to the exhibition; and photocopies of seven press cuttings.

There is also a leaflet advertising the exhibition at the St Pancras Town Hall (14 September to 5 October) and the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum in Birkenhead (30 October to 3 December 1961).
